2007 Chevrolet Equinox

The 2007 Chevrolet Equinox sports a LNJ 3.4L V-6 Engine built in China making 185HP and 210FTLB of Torque.

Modifications include a newly designed intake manifold for increased air and power efficiency, a new oil pan, engine cover and provide electronic throttle control instead of a traditional cable-based system with a throttle position sensor. Other changes were made to the fuel system to improve efficiency.

The transmission on the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox is made by Aisin and is there AF33 Automatic Transmission coming in a 5-speed variant and can handle up to 243FTLB of torque.

The Equinox sports a unibody structure contrary to the traditional body-on-frame design making the Equinox more suited to on-road activities rather than off-road.


2006 Chevrolet Equinox

No major changes were made to the lineup of the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, but all the great standard and optional features are still here.

Front Disc and rear-drum anti-locking brakes are made standard, along with a CD player, power locks and mirrors as well as extra power outlets for audio and other devices. Remote keyless entry along with folding rear seats and cruise control round out the list of standard features.

Options to the driver come in the form of CD Changer, luxurious leather seating, a sporty moon roof and premium wheels to sit on a near-113” wheel-base.

The 2006 Chevrolet Equinox retains the 24MPG highway EPA-rated fuel economy which has made it so great in the past as a sporty yet styling mid-size crossover yet attaining gas mileage and features to that of a higher-end full-size Sport Utility Vehicle.

2005 Chevrolet Equinox

The 2005 Chevrolet Equinox became a direct replacement to the Chevrolet Tracker, becoming the only selling mid-size crossover offered by Chevrolet in the United States.

The 2005 Chevrolet Equinox allows the driver to ride on almost 113” wheel-base tires in a front-wheel drive platform; optionally coming with four-wheel drive. The Equinox is designed for on-road day-to-day battles which is made prevalent with the unibody structure of this Sport Utility Vehicle.
